While many of my other projects have come and gone on a whim, my NFL Newsletter (the original “Dave’s Dime”) has been the one project I’ve consistently stuck with through thick and thin. Every football season since 2004, I have sent out this newsletter with my predictions on every game.

Much like my stints in blogging, the NFL Newsletter is meant to be opinionated and organic. I let my emotions dictate the writing style each week, leading to some light-hearted and funny pieces, and some angry and frustrated ones.

One of the most popular features of my NFL Newsletter are my “philosophy picks“, which are picks that factor in emotions, motivation, and other factors that might go against the statistics. To date, I have picked over 59% winners against the spread with these picks.

After starting with just 18 recipients in 2004, the newsletter is now sent to over 375 subscribers.
