My 2010 NFL Power Rankings Week 11

*These Power Rankings Do Not Factor in the Thursday Night Game between Chicago and Miami

Rank Up/Down Record Team
3 7-2 Atlanta – Win over Ravens; capped off by an impressive late touchdown drive manufactured by Matt Ryan; erases any doubt about whether this team belongs among the NFL’s elite.
3 7-2 NY Jets – Another ugly win… but maybe that’s just how the Jets like it. Darrelle Revis vs. Andre Johnson should be fun this week.
3 7-2 New England – Great bounce back from Cleveland loss with comfortable win over Pittsburgh. Defense played much better than final score indicates.
3 6-3 Baltimore – Easy one this week at Carolina to bounce back from the Atlanta loss; tough to see a great comeback squashed by that late drive.
3 6-3 Pittsburgh – Is there cause for concern in Pittsburgh? 1-2 in last three games, and Bengals were 12 yards away from making it 0-3 two weeks ago.
3 6-3 Philadelphia – Remarkable night by Michael Vick has people wondering if anyone can stop the high flying Eagles; may not have to wait long to find out, here come the tough G-men this week.
6-3 Green Bay – Well rested and looking to cap off the season sweep of Minnesota, and essentially end their dwindling playoff hopes in the process.
6-3 New Orleans – Saints get Reggie Bush back in time for a favorable stretch of Sea, @Dal, @Cin, StL.
1 6-3 Indianapolis – This year’s Colts team hasn’t been able to put it together and win on the road this year; have a chance to buck that trend and make a statement at New England this week.
7 6-3 NY Giants – No excuse at all for getting beat badly at home to the hapless Cowboys. That said, everyone will forget about it with a win at Philly Sunday night.
1 5-4 Oakland – Wondering how legit Oakland is? So am I. We’ll find out this week when they visit an angry Pittsburgh team they’ve had two weeks to prepare for.
3 6-3 Chicago – Defense stifles Adrian Peterson and forces three interceptions out of Brett Favre; solid recipe for success.
1 6-3 Tampa Bay – How they gave up 16 points to Carolina is beyond me, but it’s another win for Tampa Bay, DOUBLING last year’s win total.
3 5-4 Tennessee – Had to like their chances down 20-17 at the end of the third quarter with Miami down to their third-string quarterback, but no dice. Titans are a tricky team to figure out this year.
3 5-4 Miami – Picked up the win, but lost their first and second string quarterback in the process. Already an on-the-fence team, can they overcome losing Henne for any period of time?
3 5-4 Kansas City – Looked like they still had the Oakland OT loss on their mind while getting routed by Denver last week. The wheels might be coming off this dream season, but a home game against Arizona comes at a great time.
4-5 San Diego – Just one game behind Kansas City and Oakland, San Diego has plenty of room to make their move, starting this Monday night at home against Denver.
3 5-4 Jacksonville – Miracle Hail Mary play to end the game wins it for the Jags, who have quietly been one of this season’s biggest surprises. Winnable game at home against Cleveland to keep things rolling.
3 4-5 Houston – So much for all of the early season hype. The Texans’ defense has been hopelessly bad this year.
4 5-4 Seattle – Hard to believe, but that win over lowly Arizona gave the Seahawks sole possession of first place in the NFC West.
2 4-5 St. Louis – Put up a nice fight at San Francisco, but fell just short; tough draw against the soaring Falcons this week.
3-6 Cleveland – Another great game against an elite team, forcing the Jets to overtime, but couldn’t come up with the upset this time. Can they get up for a less exciting game against Jacksonville?
3 4-5 Washington – Redskins follow up McNabb/Shanahan drama with complete fiasco of a home loss to Philadelphia. What’s up next?
1 3-6 Minnesota – Vikings fall to 0-5 on the road, Favre throws three interceptions; I think this time, he’s really gone for good.
4 3-6 Denver – Excellent (and surprising) blowout win over Kansas City; all three of their wins have come to teams with winning records (Ten, Sea, KC)
2 3-6 San Francisco – Troy Smith breathing a bit of life and confidence into this team; finding ways to win the close games late instead of lose them.
2 3-6 Arizona – Hard to figure out how this team has won three games; lots of problems on both sides of the ball.
2 2-7 Cincinnati – Offensive talent continues to go to waste; home game against Buffalo this week should be a win though, shouldn’t it?
1 2-7 Dallas – Pretty great spot to break a losing streak, on the road against one of your hated rivals. Home game against Detroit could mean a winning streak. We’ll see.
3 2-7 Detroit – Six of seven losses have been by eight points or less (four by three or less); but actually winning seems to elude the Lions.
1 1-8 Buffalo – Finally pick up a win after weeks of close calls. They needed it; the rest of the schedule looks rocky.
1 1-8 Carolina – Starting a fourth string running back and a guy who was a stay-at-home Dad two weeks ago at quarterback. I’m sure that’ll go great.
